   JOHN KENTON PRICE

John Kenton Price, The Boss

From a long line of musicians himself, John has the unique ability to combine his musical expertise, electronic design skills and understanding of musicians' needs to provide products that don't just work - they make it easier for you to make great music.

John Price continues to oversee all aspects of the business personally and believes his success is due to his partnership approach - listening to you, the customer, and being responsive to your comments.

In addition to developing the range of MIDI products featured on this website, John continues to design special one-off MIDI devices, especially for stage use.

Anthony Barden, Sales Manager

I joined Kenton way back in February 1999, when I was a mere 21 years old and we were still based in Tolworth. Before that I was the post room administrator for Ericsson in Guildford, which gave me valuable office experience and paid the rent, but was hardly stimulating. Eager to try something new, I threw myself on the mercy of John Price, who chose to overlook my lack of experience and let me try my hand at sales. 3 years later, I think I’m just about wrapping my head around it! Kenton is a small company, so although my official job title is sales manager, I find myself getting involved in many other areas of the business such as marketing, advertising, technical support and despatch. Suffice to say, I’m never bored.

I live in Feltham with my girlfriend Rhiannon and her son Cameron. I spend all of my spare time (and money) mixing and trying to make a name for myself as a DJ playing funky house and prog house/trance. I also promote a funky house night in a bar in Wimbledon, just up the road from our offices.
