Using a Socket upgrade with your Kenton MIDI/CV converter
can provide additional control and add enhanced features to your synth. Kits should
be fitted by qualified service personnel and we regrettably can accept no responsibility
for any damage caused by incorrect installation.
Having said that however, they are far easier than our
retrofits to install, so if you have a soldering iron and a basic knowledge of
electronics, you should be competent with most of them. They all come with full
instructions.
If you live in the UK, we can also install Socket upgrades
in your synth at our premises, for an additional fee.

| ROLAND TB-303 |
This kit is available in two versions, three and five
socket. The three Socket upgrade includes CV/GATE and FILTER, while the five socket one adds SLIDE
and ACCENT, giving wide ranging control over your 303. Remember you can use SYNC 24 our converters,
without any modifications. Also note that the CV and GATE sockets already fitted to the TB-303 are outputs
only. |

| ROLAND MC-202 |
The MC-202 has CV and GATE sockets, however they are
unsatisfactory in most case because they quantise the notes in discrete steps, making effective
pitch bends impossible. Our kit gives you new CV and GATE, as well as FILTER and PORTAMENTO.
As with the 303 you can run the 202 in sync without any mods. |
