Description
The SYNC-5 receives DIN Sync data (sometimes called Sync-24) from a single source (e.g. sequencer or drum machine) and produces identical copies at the 5 DIN Sync OUT sockets. These can then be connected to the SYNC IN sockets of your other devices.
By presenting a clean DIN Sync signal simultaneously to each device, a SYNC-5 box eliminates issues that can be caused by using multiple splitter cables with your DIN Sync devices. While splitter cables work fine for a small setup of two or three devices, it can introduce issues as your rig grows leading to voltage drops, jitter, or missed clock pulses.
Each DIN Sync output socket can drive up to 3 Sync inputs (if used with a splitter cables).
SYNC-5 is housed in a high quality aluminum case and powered from a mains adapter (wall wart) so you can fit and forget.
Please note this is NOT a MIDI product – NEITHER THE INPUT NOR THE OUTPUTS ARE MIDI
All leads are sold separately: see MIDI/DIN Sync Leads.
